Apparently I have one of these now. On the whole it seems pretty standard fare, easy to use I mean. I signed up to read [personal profile] untune_the_sky 's stuff but I'm actually sort of intrigued with the idea of actually using it to write in.

I haven't done any solo writing in about four years, but up until that point I was a 100% solo, longhand writer. The only writing I ever did on the computer was when I started doing rpgs.

rpgs are great if you find good ones, of which I belong to two currently, but I've been plagued with low self-esteem my whole life and lately with one game I've been feeling like I'm just not good enough for the other players. I've been having a few of my ideas questioned lately by a couple people and I take that stuff very personally, so I've been feeling very hurt.

I woke up this morning after my first good sleep in three days feeling a lot better about myself in general, repeating to myself the mantra "if you don't like what I give you to work with, then don't work with me." It is with this mantra in mind that I begin to think maybe going back to some solo writing would be good for me. This way, if I want to do something, I can do it! I don't have to give a crap about what my character should say or do or be to get certain reactions out of someone else's character, because ALL THE CHARACTERS BELONG TO ME! :P

I do have a lot of unfinished stuff back from my NaNoWriMo days, maybe I should blow the dust off that stuff.

For the time being though, I think I might play around with a couple of my rpg characters from Art of War, Rahne and Catseye, since they can't interact in the game but in canon they were really close ;D

However, I didn't do any work yesterday so I should probably go do some of that, but I will be thinking about Rahne and Catseye.

Yay, this journal is making me happy already!
